The baobab fruit of the baobab tree native to Africa is not only a popular food, but also a great natural product for handicrafts and decorating. The large, egg-shaped fruit has an olive-green, felt-like surface and looks wonderfully exotic. It was dried closed so that the solid shell was not damaged and the seed casing is still inside.
