The fairy-like umbels of the dried fennel stalks have contracted like a basket. The stems are long and strong. Dried bleached fennel can be incorporated into dry bouquets, arrangements or wreaths in many ways. Combine the pretty daisy family with tender maiden in green, velvety soft langurus grass or flax. Use fennel branches and eucalyptus and cream-colored roses to tie small bouquets as table decorations for celebrations such as a wedding, or use decorative fennel to create attractive dry wreaths for the autumn table or to hang on the door.
