An old cultivated plant, bleached flax is being reinterpreted as a natural product in dry floristry.
Known since prehistoric times in Europe as an important oil plant and for the extraction of natural fibers for clothing under the names linen or flax, people have always found numerous uses for flax (Latin: Linum). Today it is also extremely popular with florists: the long stems branch out into numerous small seed capsules.
Almost spherical, they add variety to a dried bouquet, but can also be placed in a vase or placed in a bundle on a chest of drawers, a decorative plate in the living room or on the windowsill. For the arrangement with dried flowers, the bleached linen even offers an original alternative to the popular gypsophila. However, you can also combine it with other dried grasses to create a filigree bouquet.
You will receive a bunch of approximately 160 grams of bleached flax with seed pods in a paper sleeve. As is usual with natural materials, the approximate length between 52 and 55 centimeters can only be given as a non-binding guideline. You can of course unpick the bundle and use the individual straws as you wish.Please note: This is a natural product !
