Simply apply the copper with your hands. However, you should wear gloves to avoid fingerprints. Depending on the use, the rolled metal can be cut to size beforehand with a knife. You also need application milk for coating. Also known as a mixture in technical terms, it has to take effect before you can get started. If you paint or press the noble leaf metal onto the cleaned, grease-free surface, it will adhere to this special adhesive and cling perfectly to your workpiece.

After a while the copper will oxidize. For this reason, it is only suitable for indoor use. If you want to avoid this vintage effect, you can protect the leaf metal by applying a suitable varnish.
