This gives the natural product a very unusual, spiral appearance - no wonder that individual halves of the dry article are also referred to as palm snails!

The dry material, split lengthways and rolled up, proves to be extremely decorative - especially in wreaths and arrangement creations: The palm ring is often used in the areas of dry and funeral floristry, but is also increasingly used in Christmas floristry, especially since the red color next to green firs - and holly branches look particularly festive.
