Burning instructions for the safe burning of candles:- The candle is a living light. It must be looked after and, as an "open fire", must not be burned unobserved.
- Do not burn candles too close together or below one another.
- Remove match sticks, pieces of wick or other foreign objects from the burner plate
- Candles do not tolerate drafts, as a result they begin to soot, drip and burn on one side.
- If the candle is visibly sooty, carefully shorten the wick while it is burning, extinguish if necessary.
- If the wick burns on one side, carefully bend it to one side. Do not bend or break a frozen wick.
- If the edge of the candle is too high, it can be cut off when it is warm. Cut candles with protruding edges at regular intervals (at least every 4 hours).
- Burn candles as long as possible until the whole burner plate is liquid.
- To extinguish the wick, immerse it in the liquid wax compound and straighten it up again.
- Always burn the candle on a protective coaster.
