Water hyacinth is very popular as a natural material for baskets. Here the seaweed is first wound into ropes using a traditional technique and then sewn together. This creates a very natural plant basket that is lined on the inside with plastic film.
The ropes for hanging the seagrass basket are attached to the outside, but the look of the vessel is inspired by the macrame decoration, which is particularly popular in the Boho Chic and Urban Jungle interior design styles. The basket seems to lie relaxed between the picturesquely linked natural fiber cords.
You get the braided hanging basket in macrame style as a duo of two different sized plant baskets.
