These decorative seed pods, also called brachyciton, are washed white and dried. Some of the brachyciton pods are open, revealing their rows of yellow seeds. There are 2 to 4 pods on the fruit stands, so the decorative pods from the protein category are wonderfully suitable for flower binding, memorial floristry and dry floristry.

The natural decoration is often used in particular for funeral wreaths and memorial arrangements. Due to the white surface, the seed pods harmonize wonderfully with mourning ribbons and, due to their yellow seeds, give off a subtle, cheerful splash of color.
