Due to its flowering time around Christmas, the Helleborus niger is the only true Christmas rose, along with other Helleborus species. The plant, also known as the snow rose, delights with elegant white flowers in winter.
The artificial snow-covered Christmas rose in the VIANA pot cannot do much to show the real variant: Nine stems with a total of fifteen Christmas flower blossoms in different stages of bloom protrude from the moss ball
The fully open flower is composed of five egg-shaped sepals, of which there are a total of six. The only partially open and closed flowers each have three sepals, which are held by two green leaves. Inside the opened variants, numerous yellow stamens are arranged in a spiral. The half-open version is available four times and the closed version five times. Inside the closed flowers are the beginnings of the stamens in a green-whitish tone.
The deep green leaves are divided into three sections. These are lancet-shaped and have a serrated leaf margin, their leaf veins are very naturally imprinted. The plant has a total of five leaves on the stems and two bracts on the lower part of the stem.
The flowers and leaves of the Christmas rose are covered with white glitter, so it looks as if they were frosted and thus sparkling in the winter sun.
The snow rose is in a black colored and moss green flocked styrofoam cylinder. Nine fir branches of different lengths are tucked in around the plant. These are irregularly sprinkled with artificial ice. A quarter of the top of the moss ball is also covered with artificial snow in winter.
Some of the stems have a metal core in the lower area, which enables you to bend the flowers as desired.
