If you're looking for an original natural decoration, then the bleached Bullet Flower is just the thing! This natural material, which resembles an open blossom, is actually the fruit of the Manilkara zapota tree. The fruit, which also resembles a small lemon, has been carefully cut open to create four to six individual compartments, pitted, dried until woody, and then bleached.

You can then use the exotic decorative blossoms as table decorations to liven things up, but you can also place them in a bowl with other decorations or incorporate them into a flower arrangement. The light color makes the dried fruit particularly suitable for funeral decorations and can be incorporated into a memorial arrangement or funeral wreath with wire or a little hot glue. You can also combine the sliced tree fruit with Christmas decorations or use it as a shop window display.
