These naturally colored Douglas cones are the cones of the so-called common Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii), which is also known colloquially as Douglas fir or Douglas fir. The wooden natural products, which are ideal for handicrafts, decorating and designing, are characterized by a rather elongated shape and also have flag-like extensions on the scales, which give them an unusual appearance.
With the versatile Douglas cones, you can implement a wide variety of decoration ideas: For example, an autumn wreath, in which moss and several of the wooden cones are attached to a straw pot, is just as pretty a sight on the living room table as an Advent arrangement with fir greenery, cinnamon sticks and decorative cones frame a large, red candle. Get inspiration from the wide range of our decoration shop and then just start tinkering! You can also use the cones in a bowl together with Christmas tree balls and artificial snow as a table decoration or work them into a devotional grave decoration for the commemorative days. The individual Douglas cones are about 5 to 8 centimeters in size and have an approximate diameter of 2 to 4 centimeters. In plastic packaging, you will receive around 2 kilograms of the natural decoration, which corresponds to around 192 cones.
