Product Elephant Ear White Washed 25 pcs

Let yourself be inspired by exotics like this Elephant Ear in white and realize your unusual decoration or handicraft ideas with it. The dry wood originally comes from the fruit of the flame tree native to Madagascar, botanically: Delonix egia. This so-called scaletta pod is stripped of seeds, cleaned and rolled by hand before drying. This gives the pod its characteristic shape, which is reminiscent of the ear of an elephant. This impression was reinforced by the economical washing in white color. The surface of the dried flame tree fruit shows cracks and contours that are reminiscent of the skin of an elephant.

At the same time, the material is very robust, so it is ideal as a craft item. Children in particular will love to tinker with the wooden sleeves, the name and appearance of which are reminiscent of the popular pachyderms. The decorative fruit also sets extravagant accents as a sprinkle decoration, for example on tables, sideboards or in bowls. Not least in dry floristry, which always likes to use individual natural materials, the pod can be used effectively.
