If you love the Japanese art of arranging flowers, Ikebana, then a quarter-shaped stick like the Kenzan Quarter model is a wonderful sticking aid for realizing your flower arrangements!

The Kenzan, also sometimes called Kensan hedgehog and also known under the term flower frog, can be displayed in a decorative bowl or embedded in deeper vessels. The Kenzan is so heavy that even in vases filled with water it immediately sinks to the bottom and remains there without buoyancy. With this little trick, you can easily insert fresh flowers or make unusual table decorations from dried flowers without much effort.

The spiky frog Kenzan Quarter comes to you in a quarter circle shape. The silver metal stick holder is fitted with 300 sharp brass needles. A removable rubber mount on the underside of the needle frog ensures a secure stand and also protects sensitive surfaces.

Use the Kenzan alone as a quarter or combine the arrangement base with other floral hedgehogs from our wide range of Kenzanes. However, the special shape of the Kenzan Quarter makes it ideal for completing the flower hedgehog with others of its kind. So you can vary different shapes from several of these sticks for flowers. For example, four needle frogs form a circle.
