The loofah aegyptiaca belongs to the cucurbit family and is not only a useful plant, but also a particularly decorative natural article when dried - like this little loofah on a stick in orange. These are the smaller fruits of the so-called loofah cucumber, which resemble sponges in appearance and texture. This makes them versatile products with an exotic touch, which are used, among other things, in memorial floristry and especially in the design of dry arrangements and funeral wreaths.
The loofah sponges on a stick have the advantage that they can be integrated into your creations individually and in a few simple steps. To do this, you can shorten the sticks as required and then pin them in materials such as floral foam, styrofoam or potting soil. Especially between other exotic species such as palmspear, bell cups and proteins, the loofah pumpkins unfold their full effect and appear elegant and stylish. Thanks to the stems, you also have the option of placing the loofahs as an ornament in large floor vases and arranging them tastefully in the shop window display. The dark orange tone goes wonderfully with a creative autumn decoration.
The dried orange loofah sponges are supplied in a set of 25 and are approximately 4 to 8 centimeters in size. The diameter is around 3 to 5 centimeters, while the total length including the wooden stick is between 45 and 50 centimeters.
