Burning instructions for burning candles safely:

• The candle is a living light. It must be cared for and must not be burned as an “open fire” unattended.
• Do not burn candles too close together or under each other.
• Remove any leftover matches, wicks or other foreign objects from the burner plate
• Candles cannot tolerate drafts, so they begin to soot, drip and burn on one side.
• If the candle is visibly sooty, carefully shorten the wick while burning and extinguish it if necessary.
• If the wick burns on one side, carefully bend it to the side. Do not bend or break a solidified wick.
• If the edge of the candle is too high, you can cut it off when it is warm. Trim candles with protruding edges at regular intervals (at least every 4 hours).
• If possible, burn candles until the entire burner plate is liquid.
• To extinguish the wick, dip it into the liquid wax mixture and stand it up again.
• Always burn the candle on a protective coaster.
