The lemon and orange figures each wear a robe with an all-over print of the respective citrus fruits and foliage and matching trousers and shoes as well as a pretty bow on the lapel.
The fruit children come in pairs to a matching girl and boy. The fruit girls have brown, shoulder-length hair that is adorned with a slice of fruit. Her eyes are closed and her face shows a friendly smile. Lemon and orange girls each carry a basket of fruit in their arms. Orange Boy and Lemon Boy both wear a hat made from half a lemon peel on their heads and hold a single lemon or slice of orange in their hands.
Since the heads of all fruit dwarfs are attached to a small metal spring and the girls' clothes with fruit are also attached to a large spring on their legs, the fruit figures bob and swing merrily in the wind and when shaken.
