You may know the red drill by a different name !? The practical tool is also known as a wire driller, wire twisting pliers, twisting crank, wire twister or binding wire tool. No matter what you call this little helper, it twists eyelet wires in no time and is ideal for hobbyists, florists and do-it-yourselfers.
For example, you can use it to attach plants to vines or garden fences in the garden and close large bags with wire. Hobbyists and florists use it to tie branches, twigs and thin wooden trunks together and create great arrangements or wreaths. The tool is also very practical for do-it-yourselfers and makes it easier to repair wire fences, for example.
The device is used with eyelet wire (also known as eyelet tie wire). The ends of the loop wire are twisted into one another (twisted) with the helpful tool. To do this, pull the handle of the drill tool until the wires are twisted together to the desired length. The drill has a non-slip red handle and a sturdy hook on the tip. The hook is hooked into the eyelets of the binding wire. There is a spindle in the handle of the wire twister. If you pull the handle, the spindle is set in rotation and the wire ends are wired together. The drill is about 20 centimeters long.
